Safe sling use:

Please use common sense when carrying baby in your sling. We must disclaim all liability for loss or injury caused by the use or misuse of this baby sling. Be aware of the child's position in the sling at all times, as you are solely responsible for the proper use of the sling.

  • This sling is intended for children under 35 pounds.

  • Slings are not approved safety seats. Always use a car seat in a moving vehicle.

  • Be aware of positional asphyxia, which can happen when a child's chin rests against her chest, restricting airflow. Check that her airway is unobstructed and that she can breathe regularly at all times, including while sleeping.

  • Be aware of the tail of the sling. It could get caught.

  • Fabric is not flame retardant ... baby isn't either, so be careful around open flames.

  • Do not bend over with baby in the sling, as she could fall out. Squat down instead and keep a hand on her.

  • Do not wear your baby while using a stove or an oven. This puts baby too close to hot burners, tempting pot handles, and open ovens.

  • If baby is squirming a lot, try another position or take her out of the sling and try again later.

  • If you have a painted sling do not let baby chew/suck on the painted fabric.

Breastfeeding with your sling (includes bottle-feeding):

Breastfeeding with your sling is convenient and discreet, especially with the tail of fabric to be used as a blanket or cover-up for more privacy. The holds most commonly used for breastfeeding are the cradle and football holds. Simply pull the inner edge of fabric below your breast and latch baby on. No need to stop to find an "appropriate" place to feed; baby is already right where she needs to be.

Removing your sling:

In any position, support baby's weight with one hand and pull upward on the outer ring to allow the fabric to slide through the rings

Other convenient uses:

  • A blanket on the go.
  • A changing pad for little emergencies.
  • Not just for babies - a pet carrier too.

Care instructions:

  • Machine wash in cold water with like colours and hang to dry.
  • May shrink slightly in dryer; do so at your own risk.
  • Do not use bleach.
  • Iron carefully at low setting if needed.

To protect your washer from the rings and to avoid picking the fabric or embroidery, wash in mesh laundry bag. If embroidery gets snagged snip extra thread off.
